Buyer protection and policies
How we hold funds, what sellers must do, and the rules that get an account banned.
Escrow — funds held until delivery
You pay the listed price plus shipping only. We hold that money until you confirm delivery (then a 3-day dispute window before release). If you don’t confirm, we treat the order as delivered 10 days after it ships, and release payment to the seller 3 days after delivery. If something is wrong, open a dispute from the order page before release — a person reviews it. This protection covers the purchase itself, including cards you intend to resell.
Off-platform payment is a ban
Asking a buyer or seller to pay outside this site — bank transfer, PayID, PayPal Friends and Family, cash, crypto, or any other rail — is an immediate ban. Use checkout and escrow. If someone asks you to go off-platform, do not pay, and tell us from the order messages or Help.
Graded listings and photos
Every slab needs a certificate number and photos of that slab, including the cert label. When the grader publishes a lookup, the cert number links out — that is a record to compare, not a verified tick. Using another card’s photo is bait photography and a trust ban. Live raw singles from A$20 need at least one listing photo; singles from A$500 also need a chase photo checklist. Factory-sealed items need a seal checklist from A$150. Printed sports autographs need an autograph checklist — unsigned sports cards do not.
Shipping
Sellers ship within two business days of payment. A missed ship-by date is flagged on the order and can affect the seller’s rating. There is no late-shipping fee. Tracking is required from A$50. Pack to survive the post — we publish pack standards, and insurance is available from A$200.
